Dear Christianites and other curious people:
My god! What you will see hanging in the walls of Gallopperiet in March
is the most beautiful collection of photographs of that marvelous Brunette Bros. circus ever taken.
Please save the date and come along to celebrate all the joyous moments we spent together, in those
years of the traveling circus.
The circus of the Brunette Bros. died, leaving behind the illusory myth of dust and laughter.
Karina Tengberg and Maria Solà have joined forces to create an exhibition celebrating and saving the me-
mory of this peculiar circus troupe and the post-apocalyptic circus universe they invented.
There will be pieces of scenography and props for show, and there will be live performances and concerts.
We will have a book release of the very first edition of our book “So many Freaks and not enough Circuses.
The short film: MEMORIAL, of the circus that once was will be shown at the exhibition.
Tengberg and Solà produced this short film in 2022 winning the 1st prize in the category: “Circus experien-
ces” at the Trapezi Circus Fair.
