CURIOUS AND CURIOUS OF FRIENDS

NYSYG OG VENNERNYSYG is an artist group that grew out of the open creative workshop at the Psychiatric Center Sct.Hans.NYSYG is Nikolaj Brie Petersen, Maja Petrea Fox, Frederik Dollerup, Jannik Jensen, Nicolai GonzalezTresgallo, Anita Xenia Steen Svensson and Loize Hartmann- Petersen. NYSYG is a response to the psychiatric system and to the art system. NYSYG is disappointed with the psychiatric system and wants more creativity, activity and workshops, community and reciprocity into it. NYSYG is disappointed with the art system and therefore does not make as much art , but personal objects, which are anchored in the practice of life and not torn out of it. NYSYG offers inside at the Gallopperiet/Stadens Museum in Christiania in June 2019. NYSYG has brought along a few friends, namely Casper S. Nielsen from Maskine Maskine Amager and CopenhagenOutsider Art Gallery and Mads Parsum the poet from Pusherstreet.NYSYG and friends show you a bit of their worlds and the relationship they all have with the City, for better or for worse.
