Leif Dione Joensen rounds sharply and marks it with a big display. An exhibition is always a summary of where the artist is in his development, because, as William Blake said, ``Art is practice''.

Leif Dione says that he has always been torn between the naturalistic and the objectless/abstract. It is not something the artist himself decides. It is a given disposition, here an urge to examine the transition field between two different styles or world views.

Is the world about (Christian) myths, which Leif Dione has dealt with quite a bit, or about abstract forms, such as microorganisms and crystals. Leif Dione describes both departments, weaves the two modes of expression together into an increasingly simplified graphic language and the colors are extracted down to soon being exclusively yellow, red, blue: the basic colours.

Leif Dione is also a weaver, poet and singer.

Leif Dione's exhibition is a precious weaving of all the threads and fragments given to him.
